Where is ME Bank Starlight Cinema?
We’re located at North Sydney Oval, Miller Street, North Sydney during summer. The Oval is located on the east side of Miller Street between Ridge and Carlow Streets. It is adjacent to St Leonards Park.
Where can I park?
In North Sydney there is street parking on Miller Street. Alternatively, there are 196 car spaces at the Ridge Street Car Park on St James Place off Ridge Street (between Miller and West Streets). The Car Park is approximately 200m walk and operates until 1am. The cost of parking is a flat rate after 5.30pm Monday to Friday and is free on weekends. Payment is by coins or credit card at the car park ticketing machine.
What public transport is there?
North Sydney Oval is a ten minute walk from North Sydney Train Station. Alternatively, a number of buses pass North Sydney Oval. For Public Transport Information telephone 131 500 or visit http://www.131500.com.au/.
What happens if it rains?
Sydney during summer can experience afternoon showers. Usually these clear in time for our movie each evening. North Sydney Oval has a very porous surface, which dries off quickly after rain and has large stands with undercover seating if it showers before or during the movie making our venue all weather.
Tickets are not transferrable unless a screening is cancelled due to heavy rain or high winds. In these circumstances pre-booked patrons will receive an email or SMS advising of the cancellation and how tickets can be exchanged for another movie. Refunds are not available unless a film is cancelled by ME Bank Starlight Cinema.
When does ME Bank Starlight Cinema screen?
North Sydney Oval Wednesday to Saturday during January, February and March 2010. Season dates are Wednesday 13 January to Saturday 20 March 2010.
What time does the box office open?
6.30pm.
What time does the gate open?
7.00pm.
When does the film start?
At sundown. This is approximately 8.30pm in January/early February, 8.15pm in late February and 8.00pm in March.
What are the seating arrangements?

What is the Lawn Lounge?

Tickets & Services
Is there wheelchair access?
There is wheelchair access. Entry at North Sydney Oval is via the Ridge Street entrance. Please call 9949 3137 between 9.00am and 5.00pm on the day of the film you are intending to see to arrange assistance. Wheelchair seating is available on the concourse.
Where can I buy tickets?
Either online or at our venue ticket office which opens at 6.30pm each evening OR over the phone - 1300 GET TIX (438 849). All tickets are ON SALE now.
Can I buy tickets for more than one film?
Yes. You can book for multiple films with the MoshTrolley. This is available on each film booking page.

How can I book if I don't have a credit card?
You can buy at the gate using cash, eftpos or credit card.
How do I redeem my gift voucher?
Through our Moshtix booking system. Click here to redeem your Starlight Cinema Gift Voucher.
1. Select the film you wish to see.
2. Choose ticket category and food option, if applicable.
3. Go through the booking process to point of payment, select Gift Voucher and enter the number on this voucher in the code box.
4. You will be provided with an e-ticket for your chosen film.
Can I BYO?
NO BYO alcohol is permitted at North Sydney Oval. Our bar offers a range of Coopers beers, Hungerford Hill Wines and soft drinks. We also offer a Barbeque, Grinders coffee and dessert. You can bring a picnic. Please do not bring glass.
Can we buy food and beverages there?
Yes, we have a Barbeque at North Sydney Oval plus snacks, salads, cheese and antipasto boxes, Hungerford Hill wines, Coopers beers, soft drinks, Grinders Coffee, ice cream and confectionery.
Can I bring my own food in to MYER Star Class?
No. This is a fully serviced area. MYER Star Class ticket holders receive a cheese or antipasto box and a welcome beverage in the dining area with waiter service for additional beverages and coffee.
Can I bring my own chair?
Yes. Please note only low chairs with curved legs are permitted on the Oval. Camp and director’s chairs can be used on the concourse ONLY.
Can we smoke at the venue?
Yes, in the designated smoking areas.
Can I bring my pet?
No, North Sydney Oval does not permit animals.
Do I need to bring anything?
A ground rug, a jacket if it is breezy and your desire to have fun.
